GWS are currently $1.91 to lay on Betfair to make the eight.
Lay 8 units at up to $2.0 on Betfair.
The 2015 AFL season gets under way on Thursday and we have one futures bet to get us going before then.
GWS won six matches in 2014 and can reasonably be expected to improve on that total in the coming season.
They let Tom Boyd go to the Bulldogs and while they could regret that in the future I think they got the best end of that deal by getting Ryan Griffen in exchange. They have Jeremy Cameron and Jonathan Patton up top so should not miss Boyd in the short term whereas Griffen is just the type of player they need to make the step up to finals contention. They also got Joel Panful from the Lions who should be a real asset in defence.
There looks to be a few spots up for grabs in the top 8 and GWS, while by no means favourites to get there, should not be the odds they are to make that step up in 2015.
