We’re looking to points totals for most of our bets this week in addition to a couple of punts on big outsiders.
Geelong vs Collingwood
The Cats must win while the Pies should react to criticism they’ve received this week. The rain forecast in Melbourne looks like missing so the overs trend of recent weeks could continue here.
1 unit over 171.5 points at $1.88 with
Hawthorn vs Brisbane
Five to ten mls of rain is forecast in Tassie tomorrow and with the points line set at 183.5 this is an obvious choice for the unders, despite the Hawks usually making unders backers hold their heads in their hands at some point in the 3rd quarter. It’s hard to see Brisbane scoring more than 10 goals and even the Hawks could struggle to get this total over if the rain comes as forecast.
1 unit under 183.5 points at $1.90 with
North Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
Unquestionably the match of the round in what should turn into a shoot out by two high scoring teams.
1 unit over 189.5 at $1.91 with (UK)
Essendon vs Richmond
I keep backing Essendon and I keep wondering why shortly after the final siren. However, they played OK last week Richmond’s record as big favourites is on our side.
.5 units win Essendon at $8+ on (currently $9 for small money)
1 unit Essendon +41.5 at $1.97 with
St Kilda vs Sydney
Each time I watch the Saints they impress me for at least a couple of quarters and they are really good value to get close to the inconsistent Swans at Etihad Stadium.
.5 units St Kilda to win at $4.70 with
1 unit St Kilda +29.5 at $1.96 with
