The Swans welcome Port Adelaide to the SCG on Thursday night without their two big money power forwards in Buddy Franklin and Kurt Tippett, who are suspended.
They’ve averaged 4.81 goals between them this season so the obvious question is will the Swans have enough goals in them to see off a desperate Port side that are all but out of finals contention if they lose here.
The Swans are going with Sam Reid as tall forward and he’ll be keen to take a couple of clean marks early in the game, as this is a part of the game that troubled him when he played forward a year or two ago.
I think the Swans can overcome the loss of Franklin and Tippett with big performances by a few of their midfield. I also like that they’ve moved Lewis Jetta from half back to half forward. He could well get amongst the goals tonight, as could Luke Parker.
I also lean towards the under with the swans 13/27 that way at night since 2012 and Port 8/15 at night in the same period.
