A fascinating match up at Etihad on Saturday afternoon with the Western Bulldogs taking on the GSW Giants.
The Bulldogs were the darlings of the early rounds with wins over Adelaide, Sydney, West Coast and Richmond before losing three straight, including defeats to St Kilda and Melbourne.
GWS have taken over from the Doggies as the team that everyone wants to watch as they’ve won their last three.
This match has added spice with Ryan Griffen and Tom Boyd facing their former clubs. I can see Griffen having his best game of the season in this one as his form is on an upward curve after a scratchy start.
I’m slightly concerned by the Dogs’ recent record of 9/4 ATS as home underdog but i’ve got to be with the Giants here. They’ve looked good at Etihad winning three of their four matches there and can take advantage of a dip in form and confidence of the Bulldogs.
