We nailed a 4/1 winner this morning when Nottingham Forest squeezed past Newcastle 2-1 at the City Ground. The Geordies had two men sent off in the opening period and Forest missed two penalties.
Only a couple of League 2 fixtures plus a full Championship program remaining for us to get stuck into.
Just the one bet after Forest this morning and it’s on Reading to win at Fulham.
Reading are third in the table, nine points above Fulham. The Cottagers (tee hee) have won twice from nine home games with a 0 goal difference while The Royals (even worse?) have won half their eight home games with a -2 GD. My numbers have Reading as much improved away from home with the average rating for the first four games 12.7 and for the last four games 19.2.
Stevenage look solid value at 3/1ish to beat Doncaster at home in what looks highly likely to have plenty of goals, in fact a quick glance at their respective home and away scoring records made me take a look at the sub markets and I have ended up having four more bets. Stevenage have scored an average of 1.9 goals at home and both teams have scored in 7/8. Doncaster have netted an average 2.1 goals at home and have also seen BTTS 7/8 times.
