A full program of English Football League fixtures at the weekend and i’m getting in early with two bets in the Championship and one in League 2.

Championship:

Fulham vs Barnsley

Fulham have been one of the Championship’s talking teams over the last month or so and they can put in huge performances, the best being their 5-0 win over Reading on 03/12/16 when they outshot the Royals 24 to 3. They followed that up outshooting Rotherham by 30 to 8 and won the shot count in their next two home games by 11 and 7.

Barnsley are the visitors to Craven Cottage and their form suggests they might be well overpriced to get the win.

  • Barnsley have won six from 12 away to Fulham’s four from 12 at home

  • Barnsley have won four, drawn one and lost one of their last six home and away games

  • Fulham have won three, drawn two and lost one of their last six home and away games

Rotherham vs Norwich

Rotherham have had a good go in their last three home games, recording ratings of 27.4, 22.4 and 25.6 and winning two of them. How they are as big as $5.0 to beat a Norwich team  who have gone into  free fall after a good start to the season. Norwich have lost 6/7 away and should not be odds on to anyone in their current form.

League 2:

Barnet vs Doncaster

Top of the table Doncaster’s last four away ratings read 18.5, 12.6, 9.8 and 7.6 (won 2, drawn 1, lost 1) and those regressive numbers have me looking to oppose them.

Barnet are 7th in the table and have won four of their last six including beating 2nd placed Plymouth at odds of $3.10 in their last home game. Anything over $3.30 looks like very solid value.
