We went two from two in mid-week with bets on Bournemouth and West Ham although I was kicking myself for not tipping the Hammers to win the match rather than on the handicap. Oh well a winner’s a winner. I’m trying not to think about Swansea winning at 9/1 against Arsenal as they were also a bet on the ratings that I stupidly decided to death ride thinking they had no possible hope of an upset.
Spurs are the team that went to West ham and got beaten but I like them to get their title challenge back on track against Arsenal in their next match. They’ve been very good at home notching 26, 34, 26 and 22 shots in their last four home fixtures. Compare these numbers to Arsenal’s 14, 8, 10 and 13 in their most recent away games.
Crystal Palace have lost four straight at home but the numbers say they should or could have beaten both Bournemouth and Watford. They play Liverpool and who knows how they’ll react to beating Man City 3-0 this morning.
Let’s keep the draw onside by backing Palace +0.25 goals at $2.09 with
West Brom take on Man Utd at the Hawthorns (is it even still called that?) and the silly billies at are a stand out $4.75 about them winning. They have won four, drawn three and lost once in their last eight home games. Rather than look to the handicap we’ll just have half a unit on them at those odds.
