Jonas Blixt comes to West Virginia to defend the title he won 12 months ago on a par 70 course that was drastically altered to make it more testing after Stuart Appleby shot a round of 59 when he won in 2010.
It’s naturally a small sample we are working with but with each of the three winners since the alterations having done so on their course debut it could be that course form is not as important as on most weeks.

Only four previous Greenbriar Classics to go on so we’ll look at players from outside the ODDY ratings as well this week.
Brendon Todd was a partial winner for us last week with a tied for 5th and there’s no reason to desert him now on a track which should suit him better. He made the cut in his only appearance here in 2012 and his recent form reads 1, 5, 8, 17, 5.

As you might have guessed by now, Bill Haas is one of my favourite players and he’s won in each of the last four years on the PGA Tour but is yet to visit the winners circle in 2014.
He’s been in the mix as much as anyone over the last month and hopefully his course form of 2, 33 and 9 will see him put four good rounds together this week.

KJ Choi is playing really well at the moment and two rounds of 65 and a round of 64 in the last two weeks is testament to that. He has a 2nd and a 5th in the last four tournaments he’s contested and with a 23rd placed finish here last year he is in line to be thereabouts this week.
Choi is $56 each way with
David Hearn has been lurking in behind the leaders on the PGA Tour recently with finishes of 21 and 28 after a tied 6th at the Players before a missed cut let week. His game looks suited to the rack with an 18th, a 12th and a MC at the Greenbriar in the last three years.
Hearn is $81 each way with
Patrick Reed came back to form last week and led going into the final round. He missed the cut here last year on his only appearance but at his current odds just has to be backed.
Reed is $41 with
