JB Holmes has held his form really well over the last couple of months and he just seems to contend almost every week. His last two tries in this event resulted in top 12 finishes and he deserves to be in the staking plan despite being as short a price as we’d want to get involved at i.e, don’t take less than $26.

Jason Kokrak is playing really well and his recent form figures of 7, 6 and 11 attest to this. He finished 9th here in 2013.

Likeable Aussie Matt Jones defends his title here and he has the type of personality for this not to weigh too heavy on him. His recent form figures read 7, 14, 3 and 26.

Shawn Stefani finished 26th last week in the Texas Open but he was one of the unlucky afternoon starters in round one who got blown away by the wind and lost all chance of winning with a 79. Dustin Johnson’s performance to get so close to Walker and Spieth was incredible and Stefani’s effort was also very noteworthy. He finished 5th here last year.
