No worthwhile course form to go on this week so we’ll be looking for players with solid recent form who, of course, appear to be good value odds wise.

There is very little depth to the field with Rose, Fowler and Walker the top three in the market.

No surprises with our top pick. Justin Thomas is probably the best young player not to have won on the PGA Tour. He is very close friends with Jordan Spieth and he will be desperate to join his mate in the winners circle before the season is done.

He tied for 5th in the John Deere in his last tour start and this looks like a great opportunity for him to break his PGA Tour maiden.

Will Wilcox, like Justin Thomas a winner on the Web.com Tour, finished tied for 8th in the John Deere and 2nd in the Barbasol on his most recent start. he has three top 10’s in 13 starts this season. He shot three rounds of 66 and a 65 in his last two tournaments combined with a worst round score of 70 (-1).

Steven Bowditch won the Byron Nelson at the end of May and has held his form pretty well with three top 25 finishes since then. He finished tied 30th at the Open when he put himself right in contention with some brilliant golf in rounds two and three.

It’s going to be hot this week and as an Aussie living in Dallas, Texas this should not be an issue for him.

Johnson Wagner is one of the rare breed that really relishes being in contention on a Sunday rather than getting a big cagey.

He has shot in the 60’s in 14 of his last 16 rounds and has three top 25’s in that period.

Adam Hadwin finished tied for 7th at the Canadian Open, where as a Canadian, he would have felt a bit of extra pressure. His opening round of 74 cost him  dearly but he recovered really well. He has shot in the 60’s in 7 of his last 8 rounds and is worth a chance here.
