A shortened round this week with many clubs having the bye due to State of Origin, but for those playing it presents a real challenge with many of their stars missing.
The high flying Bulldogs are one such club in that category, as they will have to make do without a number of key players when they host the Roosters on Friday night.
The Bulldogs enjoy a great record against the Roosters, having won 12 of the past 15 clashes at the ground.
Unfortunately the loss of both halves negates this and with makeshift players in key positions I can’t help but feel their winning run will come to an end.
Both Roosters halves will be smarting after being overlooked for the Blues side, and I believe they will look to make a statement here against the ladder leaders.
Interestingly the Roosters have won their last 7 away Friday night games, and with the majority of their key players on deck I think they will be too strong for an understrength Dogs outfit.
Verdict: Roosters -6.5 at $1.90 with
