An intriguing clash awaits on Saturday evening, when Manly travel to Townsville to face the North Queensland Cowboys.
A win would see the Sea Eagles secure the minor premiership, whilst the Cowboys could finish as high as 4th depending on other results.
Manly have a good recent record at this ground, having won 3 of the past 4 matches here.
They have also won 7 of the past 8 clashes with the Cowboys at all venues, and have not tasted defeat since 2011.
Manly were victorious earlier this season 26-21, and another high scoring encounter could ensue with 3 of the past 4 clashes here tallying over 40pts.
Manly have a few injuries at the moment, and whilst they will want to finish with the minor premiership, I don’t believe it’s a huge priority for them.
The Cowboys had a scare against Cronulla on Monday night, but should be primed for this and I think they can get the money here and make a push for Top 4 honours.
