The Cowboys return home for their Monday night clash with the Sharks in what shapes as a one sided affair.
The current Line of 30.5 is the biggest start awarded to a side since 1999, and given the Sharks recent form it’s hard to argue with the bookmakers’ assessment.
The Cowboys have won just 6 of the past 15 games against the Sharks at this ground, with only 1 of the past 5 registering more than 40pts.
They were however successful 36-18 at Shark Park earlier this season, and have suffered defeat just once at home this year, so perhaps these stats should be given more weight.
Monday night football hasn’t been the kindest to the Sharks either, having not won an away game since 2008, and losing their past 11 matches.
Given recent form and motivation there’s only one winner here, and I would expect the Cowboys to really put their counterparts to the sword.
The Sharks barely managed to score double figures against a horrible Canberra outfit last week, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they failed to trouble the scorers in this one against much better opposition.
