Two teams with little to play for clash on Saturday, when the Wests Tigers travel to the nation’s capital to face the Canberra Raiders.
The Tigers have imploded over the past 5 weeks, whilst the Raiders recorded just their second win from the past 11 matches against the embattled Sharks last week.
Somewhat surprisingly the Tigers have a very good record at this ground, winning and covering the start in the last 5 clashes here against the Raiders, as well as winning 8 of the past 14 clashes.
In fact Canberra have not beaten Wests at home since 2008, and have won just 1 of the past 11 games against their opposition at all venues since 2009.
Both sides have leaked points like a sieve recently, and it comes as no surprise that 5 of the past 6 clashes between these two have registered 40pts or more.
This is a horrible match to predict given the season both sides have had, so with dry conditions forecast I’m hoping there will be plenty of points up for grabs to entertain the few die-hard fans that will be watching.
