Canberra will be desperate to avoid the Wooden Spoon when they host the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday afternoon.
The Raiders have lost 9 of their past 11 matches to slump to equal bottom of the premiership table, whilst the Warriors are in a log jam of sides vying for a place in the Top 8.
Canberra have an unbelievable record at home against the Warriors, winning 9 of the past 10 matches played in the nation’s capital, with their last defeat coming way back in 2001.
A history of high scoring encounters is also prevalent, with 4 of the last 6 at this ground tallying 44pt or more, and 5 of the last 6 at all venues surpassing the same number.
The Raiders have won just 2 games at home this season, however both these wins have been on a Sunday afternoon, and I’m going out on a limb to say they can make it a third in this one.
