A do or die battle takes shape between Melbourne and Brisbane at AAMI Park on Friday night, with the loser potentially dropping out of finals contention.
Fortunately for the home side they possess a fantastic record against the Broncos, and will look to end the hopes of their northern counterparts once and for all.
Melbourne have won 8 of the past 9 clashes in Melbourne against Brisbane, with the Broncos having won just once in Melbourne since 2007.
Overall the Storm have won 23 of the past 32 matches between these two, and since 2005 18 of the past 22 at all venues.
Melbourne also boast an amazing Friday night home record, having won 33 of their past 39 matches.
This will be a semi-final of sorts and I expect the Broncos to leave nothing in the tank, however Melbourne have too many game breakers at their disposal and I expect them to prevail and keep their season alive.
