The Warriors return to Mt Smart Stadium in a bid to keep their semi-finals hopes afloat when they host the Sydney Roosters on Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors have a good record against the Roosters, having won 9 of the past 14 matches played in New Zealand, and more recently 4 of the last 5.
They have also won 5 of their 6 matches played at this ground this season, so it will be welcome relief to be back in front of their home supporters.
Whilst both these sides are noted for their attack, this has been far from the case in recent clashes between the two.
3 of the past 4 games at this ground have tallied less than 38pts, and 6 of the past 7 meetings at all venues has failed to surpass the same mark, so this is an angle I am keen to explore.
