I’ve just been looking at the first 6 games of the year so far with regards to win/loss, profit/loss, over/under etc.
Here are some snippets:
North Melbourne are the only team at 6/0 and they started as favourites in each of them. You’d be $2.42 in profit had you backed North on the money line for $1 in each match and +$1.60 at the line at 4/2 (with line winners calculated at $1.90). They have also been the equal best team for overs backers at 5/1.
Essendon are 1/5 but you’d still be $0.27 in profit backing them in each match due to their win at $6.27 vs Melbourne in round 2. Backing them at the line shows a loss of -$2.20 as they are 2/4.
Adelaide are the best team at the line so far in 2016 at 5/1 (+$3.50). They are also the equal best team for overs backers with North Melbourne.
Western Bulldogs have gone 0/6 to the unders thus far and are the only team with a 100% record to either overs or unders.
The 2nd most profitable team at the money line has been GWS with $2.42 profit from their 4 wins and 2 losses.
The best team without a winning record to have backed at the money line has been Melbourne with $2.06 profit from their 3/3 record.
Richmond are 0/6 at the line while backing Fremantle has so far proven fruitless as they sit on the foot of the ladder at 0/6.
Geelong are 5/1 but, their opener vs Hawthorn apart, they have started at $1.51 odds and shorter. backing them in each game would have seen you pocket $1.02 and $1.60 at the line (4/2).
