Hopefully Friday night’s game at the Cattery will be more entertaining than Port’s demolition of the Hawks last night which admittedly may have been more to my liking had I not backed the Hawks.
Tonight’s game looks much more likely to be a close one with the Cats dominant at home and the Crows as good as any team in the AFL over the last couple of years.
Both teams have solid trends behind them with Geelong at home 9/1 s/u and 7/3 ats since the start of last year and the Crows 9/6 and 10/5 away from Adelaide in the same period.
With the prospects of a tight game in hand we will look to a market that lets us back just that, and one where we don’t oppose either strong trend: the ‘Tri-Bet’ market.

The total points trends point to overs with Cats home games 6/4 since 2016 and Crows away games 9/6 but the line is set very high at 195.5 considering the average total at Simonds since 2014 is 177 and 178 at night.
It’s also due to be cold tonight – around 10 degrees – and matches at Simonds that start with handicap lines of under 2 goals to either team have averaged 162 points since 2014 and have gone 2/6.
