Yeovil v Barnsley:
Barnsley have taught lessons to Brighton and Reading away, and have a chance in what could prove to be a nervy affair at Huish Park. It could just as easily be a goalbath, especially given some of Yeovil’s recent antics.
Either way, I reckon Barnsley have more like a one in three chance to win it, and are worth backing at $3.5 with BET365.COM.AU to win it.
Reading vs Huddersfield:
Huddersfield may be worth a speculation at $4.35 with UNIBET.COM.AU to win at Reading, who caught the eye for the wrong reasons on Tuesday night in a really poor showing at home to Barnsley.
You’d expect Nigel Adkins to sharpen them up and get a reaction to that defeat, so I’ll be taking a half stake on the Terriers – they have goals in them, and Reading have taken a few.
Leeds v Doncaster:
Donny raise their game against Leeds at the best of times, but they can have no better motivation for doing so than now. In the wake of his team’s narrow defeat at Leeds on Saturday, Millwall manager Ian Holloway noted the tension about Elland Road: “Leeds were on their knees. I’ve never sensed this place like that”, and rued the opportunity missed to take advantage.
Recent hidings there can’t have helped morale, and it could be that playing at home hinders more than it helps Leeds at this moment. Add to that a Doncaster resplendent with good players returning from injury, they had a good go in defeat at Burnley on Tuesday, and were the better team in their nil-all draw at Forest before that.
That makes Paul Dickov’s and Lucas Neill’s new team look terrific value at $4.35 with UNIBET.COM.AU
