BARNSLEY v Bristol C

It’s not often that we tip up a home win here, but this one looks like it’s been priced up in reverse. These teams are probably on a par in the grand scheme of the season, so we’ll take the $3.28 for Barnsley with Screenshot 2014-05-03 15.52.18

Cardiff v WIGAN

Unsurprisingly, Neil Warnock’s appointment as manager of Cardiff has seen a rapid reversal of their fortunes. Wigan have just done away with their manager, after an unfortunate loss at home to Brighton last week. That’s been the story of many of their games so far this season, and they have a squad to compete with most in this division. That’s why we’re getting behind them to burst the Bluebirds’ bubble: Wigan at $4.10 with Screenshot 2014-05-03 15.52.18

This is an inscrutable match up really. Steve McClaren’s Derby have got loads of players missing while his opposite number seems to have the opposite problem of having too many to choose from in his expansive, expensive squad. $3.30 for the away win is the bet with Screenshot 2014-05-03 15.52.18

Ipswich don’t give too much away at home, and aren’t exactly prolific in attack either. Rotherham should test them on both counts there. They’ve lost eight away games on the bounce, in most of which they have scored. No surprise then that they too have another manager; and a good one in Kenny Jackett. Take the enormous $5.10 on them to beat an ordinary Ipswich with Screenshot 2016-05-17 10.04.53 ($5.25 with BWIN if you’re lucky enough to be able to get set there).

Leeds v BURTON

Burton have been pretty competitive in their first ever season at this level, albeit more so at home than away. But Leeds make hard work of things at Elland Road these days, and could find this one a close encounter. The $4.0 for Burton is worth taking, courtesy ofScreenshot 2016-05-17 10.04.53

Rochdale v OLDHAM

One of loads of Lancashire derby games in this division, this could go any way whatsoever. And given that Oldham beat league leaders Scunthorpe the other day, we wonder why they’re quite as big as $4.33 to win this one. Take that with Screenshot 2014-05-03 13.10.10

Sheffield Utd v MK DONS

The Blades of Sheffield have been pretty incisive lately, and their opponents as sharp as bananas. You would never guess it but they have dispensed with the services of their manager in the last week. They’re a good side though, play better away from home, and markedly so against good teams. The Blades provide these criteria, so we’re having the generous $3.86 with Screenshot 2016-05-17 10.04.53

Barnet v HARTLEPOOL at $3.0 withScreenshot 2014-05-03 13.10.10

Carlisle v CRAWLEY at $5.75 withScreenshot 2014-05-03 13.10.10
