Our first stab at an EPL multi last week produced some nice profits with 3 winners and a push from 5 selections. Just the 4 selections this week.
Man City vs Chelsea: DRAW ($3.5)
Southampton to beat Newcastle ($1.95)
West Ham vs Leicester: Over 2.5 goals ($1.90)
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal: Both teams to score ($1.70)
Man City are now favourites for the title after Chelsea stumbled at the first hurdle in the title defence but it’s hard to ignore the stats that point to opposing City and getting with the draw.
Mourinho will be happy with a draw here and I can see him packing the midfield, making Chelsea very difficult to break down.
Man City have won 1 of last 8 vs the top 3
Chelsea have lost 2 in 20 vs the top 5
Seven of the last 10 of Chelsea’s vs the top 5 have been draws
Southampton play Everton at a great time with Everton yet to score this season and with Leighton Baines out for 3 months. Southampton’s last three results against Everton at home have been 0-0, 2-0 and 3-0.
I like Palace this season and am sure they will score plenty of goals, especially at home while nine of Arsenal’s last 10 away games against middle third teams have produced three goals or more.
West Ham vs Leicester should be an open game and it was a toss up between over 2.5 goals or both teams to score with the latter just winning out.
A $2 all ways multi (Yankee) costing $22 pays $165.79 to quoted odds.
