The penultimate leg of the FEDEX Cup playoffs takes us to the Tom Fazio designed links style Conway Farms GC, north of Chicago.
The course held this event in 2013 with Zach Johnson coming out on top with a score of -16 while Jim Furyk shot a 59 in round two before going onto finish 3rd.

Zach Johnson is an obvious and no doubt popular pick this week after his victory here in 2013.
He’s in good form with 65’s shot in both of the last two tournaments and it should be remembered that it’s only 7 weeks since he won the Open.

Jim Furyk‘s game is well suited to this track. If he doesn’t get a good feeling teeing it up at a course where he shot a 59 then something’s wrong!
He has three top 4’s in his last five events.

Hunter Mahan has had a torrid time this season with just four top 10 finishes. One of those was last week, however, and he also finished 4th in this event in 2013.

Rory Sabbatini is a hopeful rather than confident selection here but he’s been in sneakily solid form since his 6th placed finish at the Players’ in May with 4 top 25’s including in both of the last two weeks. He finished 11th in 2013.
