Golf: CIMB Classic
free bets bet 365

By Vince Eager

The PGA Tour heads to Malaysia this week for the CIMB Classic at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

The course is unusually short for a par 72 layout at just under 7,000 yards.

It should be a good all round test for the players with accuracy off the tee more important than length.

Hideki Matsuyama

Make no mistake, Hideki Matsuyama is going to be a star. He has the perfect game and temperament to win multiple Majors and i’ll be surprised if he doesn’t contend in at least one in 2015.

He ranks 1st in ball striking and will be suited by the hot and sticky conditions.

Chris Stroud

This looks like a perfect opportunity for Chris Stroud to register his first win on tour. He finished 3rd here last year after missing the cut in his first event of the year. He has an excellent record at the Mayakoba where the same paspalum greens are in play.

Lahiri sits 2nd on the Asian Tour order of merit behind David Lipsky who has already won on the PGA Tour this season. He won his last tournament, the Macau Open, and has extensive experience of the course.

A bit of a shot in the dark this but with recent form figures on the Asian tour of 3, 2, 2, mc and 26 we’ll have a go at the top 10 market at big odds.
