facts from www.golfingindian.com

  • Khalin Joshi is a Gujarati by origin, but his family has made Bengaluru their home.

  • Khalin started learning golf at the age of 4 from his Uncle. Khalin trains at the iconic Karnataka Golf Association course in Bengaluru.

  • Khalin Joshi turned professional in 2013, scoring five top ten finishes on the PGTI Tour to underscore his potential.

  • The biggest strength of Khalin’s game is a steady hand around the greens. He has been known to be a rhythm player, a detail that explains his battle with inconsistency in some part.

  • Khalin finished the 2016 season placed fourth on the Rolex Order of Merit rankings from the PGTI Tour. He was 91st on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, certainly well below his true class as a golfer.

  • Khalin enjoyed two top ten finishes on the Asian Tour – Manila Southwoods Championship (T13) and Shinhan Donghae Open (T 15).

  • Khalin Joshi also won once on the PGTI Tour in 2016 – the PGTI Players Championship.

  • Interestingly, Khalin finished inside the top ten in all but one of his eleven starts on the 2016 PGTI season. He was 12th in the PGTI Eagleburg Masters in September.

Good enough to take a chance at $401 on  especially as he’s only $126 best with the bookies. There is no value currently in the top 10 or top 20 markets so we’ll stake a full unit on at $401 and look for a trade if he gets into contention.
