Wins for Bristol City and Gillingham gave us a bit of profit at the weekend and we have a handful of big priced teams to get with this Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
Back Blackburn to win at Fulham if they drift to $7.40. They are a best priced $7.22 with Pinny as things stand and are on the drift so i expect them to hit $7.40 at some point.
Fulham are a very good side and will push for a playoff spot but Blackburn have 2 wins and 3 draws in their last five matches and have beaten Newcastle and Derby away from home already this season. Fulham could be vulnerable after beating Newcastle at the weekend.
We backed Gillingham to beat Scunthorpe at the weekend and they obliged by 3 goals to 2. The Gills’ home form has been solid in 2017, drawing four and winning twice since they lost 1-0 on January the 2nd. Bolton lost to Fleetwood on Saturday, conceding four times and have thrown in a few stinkers recently. Gillingham a good looking bet at anything over $3.30.
Back Swindon to beat Sheffield United at $6.28with
Swindon have only won once at home in 2017 but their most recent ratings of 25.25, 31.5 and 20.5 suggest they will be winning soon. They have outshot their opponents 20-4, 18-7 and 26-8 in those matches and if they can manage anything like that number of shots against the table topping Blades then the 5/1 could be an absolute gift. Sheffield United are obviously going to be a tough opponent but they’ve conceded 5 goals in their last two away matches (scored 6) so this could end up being an open game which will suit swindon backers.
Back Leyton Orient to win at Accrington at $6.58 with
Neither team is much good and Leyton Orient are a better team away from London Road than at home. They’ve won 2 of 3 away, beating Newport 4-0 and Plymouth 3-2. If they play like they did against Plymouth they’ll g very close to beating Accrington.
Back Notts County to win at Doncaster at $7.0 with
Doncaster are top of the league, Newport are bottom but County have won 2 from 3 away including a win over Plymouth. Don’t take any less than $7 though.
We keep opposing Pompey at home and were finally rewarded with a 9/1 winner when we sided with Crewe recently. Portsmouth didn’t manage a single shot on target that day and we are hoping for a similarly lacklustre effort against Grimsby, who beat Orient 3-0 away on Saturday.
