The Broncos look to keep their finals hopes alive on Saturday, when they host the Wayne Bennett led Newcastle Knights at Suncorp Stadium.
The Knights have a poor record against the Broncos, having won just 4 of the past 12 matches played at this ground.
They have also won just 1 of the last 7 clashes at all venues against the Broncos, with the most recent meeting resulting in a 32-6 home defeat.
Brisbane have also won their past 9 home afternoon/twilight matches, so the task for the Knights appears increasingly difficult.
3 of the past 4 matches between the two at this ground have tallied 44pts or more, so if the weather holds up we may well see plenty of ball movement in this one.
For mine the Broncos have more at stake here, and with player’s keen to impress incoming coach Wayne Bennett, I can see the Broncos putting in a solid performance.
