Parramatta face a must win clash against former coach Ricky Stuart’s Canberra Raiders in the nation’s capital on Saturday.
The Eels’ fate may well be sealed before this encounter, however, they will go into the match looking for a victory at a ground where they have struggled in the past.
Parramatta have lost 8 of their past 9 matches against Canberra at this ground, and boast just one win here since 2007.
The Eels were victorious over their rivals 18-10 in Darwin last month, however they were hardly impressive and will need to improve significantly if they are to get the points here.
Come kick-off this could well be a dead rubber, but I think there will still be enough incentive for the Eels to finish the season strongly and I believe they can overturn their poor record here with a victory in this one.
