Gold Coast will be looking to farewell outgoing coach John Cartwright when they face the Roosters on Monday night.
A string of poor results has no doubt seen Cartwright fall on his sword as the Titans appear set to miss the finals once again.
Gold Coast have a surprisingly good record against the Roosters, having won 5 of their past 6 away matches against their opponents.
These have also been high scoring affairs, with 5 of the past 6 tallying 42 points or more.
Gold Coast have also won 6 of their 7 games outside of Queensland this year, so this is hardly foreign territory for them.
The Roosters have enjoyed a good recent run at home winning 6 of their last 7 against all opponents, however they are a poor 2 from their last 9 Monday night matches.
Whilst I expect the Roosters to win, I believe the Titans will put in a gallant display especially in light of recent events, and for that reason I’ll take them with the start available.
